         Alice Boucherie, is a cinematographer based in New York City and Paris.


Growing up in the French countryside, Alice's artistic sensibilities were nurtured by her practice of dance, music and visual arts. She graduated with a Cinematography degree from a Parisian Film University in 2016, and shortly after began her career in New York.

Since then, she has traveled the world, working on documentaries, commercials, music videos, and both narrative short and feature films. She has lensed projects for Vogue, Chanel, Hulu, Neon & Universal among others.

In 2021, Alice was one of the cinematographers behind the Emmy Award-winning NYC campaign "It’s Time for NYC." She also served as the 2nd Unit Director of Photography on the feature documentary "Brats," (dir. Andrew Mc Carthy) which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and is now available on Hulu.

 

Her work has been showcased at prestigious festivals such as Cannes, Tribeca, TIFF, Sundance, and SXSW. In 2023, she earned the Best Cinematography Award at the Spanish festival Cortesina for her work on the narrative short "The End."

 

F​ascinated by the interplay of shapes, light and movement, Alice strives to connect with images on an emotional level. Her goal is always to create a cinematographic language that serves the heart of each story.
