         Alice Boucherie, is a cinematographer based in New York and Paris.


Growing up in the French countryside, Alice's early artistic spirit blossomed, drawing inspiration from the worlds of dance, music and visual arts. Graduating from Parisian Film University in 2016, she majored in Cinematography, and shortly after began her career in New York City.

She has since worked on a multitude of projects around the world, shooting documentaries, commercials, music videos, and both narrative short and feature films. She has lensed projects for Vogue, Hulu, Neon & Universal among others.

In 2021, Alice was one of the cinematographers behind the Emmy Award-winning NYC campaign "It’s Time for NYC." She also served as the 2nd Unit Director of Photography on the feature documentary "Brats," (dir. Andrew Mc Carthy) which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival and acquired on Hulu.

 

Her work has been showcased at prestigious film festivals worldwide, including Cannes, Tribeca, TIFF, Sundance, and SXSW. In 2023, she received the Best Cinematography Award at the Spanish festival Cortesina for her work on the narrative short "The End."

 

F​ascinated by the interplay of shapes, light and movement, Alice strives to connect with images on an emotional level. Her goal is always to create a cinematographic language that serves the heart of each project story.
